According to New Jersey State Police, investigators have found evidence of an apparent suicide by a man who was riding the Turnpikes westbound for more than two miles.

The State Police believe the man is an employee of the Turnstiles and was riding with another man, the Associated Press reports.

The State Police say that when the man left the turnpike on Interstate 95, the man was in his car and was unable to stop, the AP reports.

He was eventually found by a trooper and taken to a local hospital.

The trooper then alerted police, and the man took his own life.

A spokesperson for the Turnaround Highway Authority says that the agency has no further information at this time, and is still investigating.
